I’m originally from North Dakota, but I’ve lived in the Cypress, TX Katy, TX area since 2007. Street Tacos and Texas Barbeque are my favorites and I eat a raw jalapeño with most of my meals. I have a Bachelors' Degree in Spanish and a minor in Theatre and Communication. Texas has been such a great fit for me and I’m proud to call it home.

I took photography in college and learned to process and develop film and photos in the darkroom. I’m so grateful to have had that experience and I often miss it. I learned to take my time and get good at observing and anticipating because when you shoot with film, you only get so many shots.

I’m a proud father of two children: a boy and a girl. I’m extremely proud of them and I take way too many photos of them! When I’m not shooting a portrait session or editing photos, I’m most likely throwing a baseball or trying to hunt down Pokemon cards with my son or chasing my little girl around the house, trying to braid her hair and take away the box of markers she somehow swiped off my desk. Being a father is the most challenging and rewarding role I’ve ever experienced in life. “Don’t worry, I’m a dad” is a phrase that I use quite often to worrisome parents when I’m working with kids and I really mean it!

I officially started my photography business in 2015. I’ve worked on a lot of projects over the years, but people are my favorite; specifically, portraits and headshots.

My goal as a portrait photographer is to capture a person’s essence: their personality, their emotions in a photo. I’ve always been an introverted person. For years, it was a trait that frustrated me, but as I gained more experience as a photographer, I realized that it is actually a huge strength of mine. I am such a literal definition of an empath that while I’m shooting photos, I really am using my heart and emotions to feel the right moments.

For my style- I’d say that I’m obsessed with rich and vibrant bold colors, mood, the contrast of light and shadow. So if you are looking for “light and airy”, I’m not the right choice for you.

Editing and retouching are included in the pricing of my portrait and headshot sessions. I put lots of love and care into each image to make sure you look your best without overdoing it so that you’re unrecognizable.

When you work with me, you’re hiring a professional. I take pride in my craft and I have a tireless work ethic. Great communication, dependability, professionalism, and high-quality work are what you’re paying for when you hire me. I’ve had so many phone calls from clients that had their “photographer” bail on them the day of their shoot or disappear after getting paid and never receiving their images, costing them hundreds of dollars and broken-hearted. That will never happen with me.

I’ve worked hard since 2015 to build a great reputation as a headshot and portrait photographer in Cypress, TX. I love my job and it makes me happy when my clients are happy. Honesty, honor, hard work, and integrity are values I know you’ll experience when we work together.

Hi, there!

I have over 15 years of experience as a Hair and Makeup Artist. I began my cosmetology journey in January of 2008 when I became an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I immediately fell in love with making women feel beautiful and decided to transform my passion into a career. After completing multiple makeup artistry classes, I quickly became a Certified Color Consultant and Makeup Specialist.

In 2009, I added hair to my portfolio as a stylist, specializing in blowouts and updos for photoshoots, events, and special occasions. As a serial Entrepreneur, I own and manage an Executive Search firm that specializes in Wealth Management as well. I am beyond blessed to have found two career paths that I am so passionate about. Being able to channel my artistic side while I build relationships with each woman, making her look & feel her very best is the most fulfilling part of being a Beauty Stylist.
